Lance Baker

Lance Baker has been an Ensemble Member since 2004. He directed the world premiere of Brett Neveu’s The Earl and co-directed the midwest premiere of A Very Merry Children’s Scientology Pageant. He has also been seen in Killing Game, Evening At The Talk House, The Mutilated, The Grey Zone, Hunger and Thirst, The Mandrake, and Becky Shaw.

Other theatre work includes directing, designing and performing the Chicago premiere of Mike Daisey’s The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs at 16th Street Theatre. Lance has also been in Thom Pain (based on nothing) at Theater Wit, King Lear, Henry VIII and Amadeus at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and Dollhouse and Lobby Hero at the Goodman Theatre. Other Chicago credits include, Up Against It (Lookingglass Theatre); Mauritius and Lady (Northlight Theatre); A Steady Rain (Chicago Dramatists); Humans and Speed the Plow (American Theatre Company).

Lance attended the Theater School of DePaul University where he earned a BFA in Acting.
