WHY SHOULD I SUBSCRIBE AT A RED ORCHID THEATRE?

Subscribing is the best way to guarantee great seats for every show in our season and access to great deals all year round. Each subscription guarantees subscribers one ticket for each of the three shows in our season, as well as an additional 10% discount on any additional tickets purchased. Subscribers also enjoy reserved seating at every show, a no-fee ticket exchange policy, and early access to events such as readings, panel discussions, and more! 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VARIOUS SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS?

The REGULAR SUBSCRIPTION ($90) includes one ticket to each of the 2 shows in our 2024-25 season. Includes reserved seats, ticket and date flexibility, no-fee ticket exchange. Excludes Opening Nights, the final Saturday and Sunday performances of a production’s run, and potential extension dates. 

The PREVIEW SUBSCRIPTION ($60) includes one ticket to one of the preview performances for each of the 2 shows in our season. Each production has 8 preview performances leading up to its opening. Includes reserved seats, ticket and date flexibility, no-fee ticket exchange within the preview run. To exchange into the regular run, there is a ticket upgrade fee. Excludes Opening Nights, the final Saturday and Sunday performances of a production’s run, and potential extension dates.

HOW DO I BOOK MY TICKETS?

Subscriber tickets to each show are available to reserve starting approximately 6 weeks before the start of a production. Subscribers will be notified via email when it is time to book. We recommend reserving as early as possible as our productions fill up quickly! 

Tickets can be booked online or over the phone at (312) 943-8722 once available. 

 

To Redeem Your Subscription Ticket(s) Online 

  • Visit our website and select “Login” on the right side of the screen using the email and password credentials 
  • If you have never logged in to our portal, the email you submitted when you purchased the subscription/where you received the confirmation email is the same as what we have on file attached to your account 
  • If you have forgotten or have yet to set up your password, please select “forgot password” and set up a new password for your account. Then, return to the main log in portal and enter those credentials. We highly recommend making sure your account is set up before tickets go on sale! 
  • Select the performance/date of your choosing and your subscription will auto-load. Then proceed to check out.  
  • You will receive a confirmation email shortly after booking, reflecting the date you have chosen. 

To Redeem Your Subscription Ticket(s) Over the Phone 

  • Call our office at 312-943-8722 between 10am – 5pm Mondays – Fridays. 
  • Provide: 
    • The first and last name attached to the subscription  
    • Which date you are interested in attending the production 
  • You will receive a confirmation email shortly after booking, reflecting the date you have chosen. 

WHAT IF I NEED TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL TICKETS TO A SHOW?

All SUBSCRIPTION holders enjoy a 10% discount on any additional single tickets they purchase. Simply call the box office and mention you’re a subscriber to do so. 

I DIDN’T SEE MY TICKETS IN MY EMAIL CONFIRMATION! WHAT DO I DO?

We are a ticketless Box Office, so as long as you receive your confirmation email, you’re all set! When you arrive at the theatre, please check in with the Box Office/ House Management. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact the Box Office and we will make other arrangements. 

SOMETHING CAME UP, AND I HAVE TO SWITCH MY RESERVATION TO ANOTHER DAY. ARE THERE EXCHANGE FEES FOR SUBSCRIBERS?

Subscribers do not pay exchange fees. Just give us a call at (312) 943-8722 during Box Office hours and we’d be happy to help you find another performance to attend! 

CAN I REQUEST TO SIT IN A SPECIFIC SPOT IN THE THEATRE?

We always reserve the best possible seats for our subscribers. If you have any special requests, particularly those related to mobility/accessibility issues, please let us know when you book your tickets so we can keep those needs in mind when reserving seats. Due to the intimate and limited seating available in our space, please note that subscriber reserved seating is limited to 20 seats per performance and is assigned at the discretion of house management. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to optimize every patron’s experience at our theatre.
