Karen Aldridge
Karen joined the Ensemble in 2019 and has been seen on A Red Orchid's stage in Is God Is, The Moors, and the 2018 production of Victims of Duty.
Outside of A Red Orchid, she starred in the international tour of Battlefield and Le Costume, both directed by Peter Brook. She originated the role of Mrs. Phelps in the production of Matilda the Musical on Broadway. Chicago theatre credits include extensive work at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Goodman Theatre, and Steppenwolf Theatre, as well as Writers’ Theatre and Next Theatre Company. Television credits include: Reghabi in Severance (Apple TV+), Zelmare Roulette in season 4 of Fargo (FX), Adele Kipling in the Netflix series The Get Down (produced and directed by Baz Luhrmann), Dr. Kendra on NBC’s Chicago Fire and Chicago Med, Dr. Ella Harris in the Golden Globe-winning series Boss (STARZ!), Blue Bloods (CBS), and Unforgettable (CBS). Film credits include Ron Howard’s The Dilemma and Miles Joris-Peyrafitte’s Mother’s Milk.
