Jessica G. Smith
Jessica G. Smith is an actor, performer, producer, and arts worker based in Chicago. She holds a BFA with honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and a Certificate in Shakespeare from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She has worked in audience experience at Steppenwolf, Sleep No More NYC, Pride Films and Plays, and Chicago Humanities, among others.
As a performer, she has been seen in numerous commercials, as well as onstage at American Blues, Northlight, Peninsula Players, Lookingglass, Alabama Shakespeare, Goodman, Chicago Fringe, The Tank NYC, The Gym at Judson, and the Shakespeare Project of Chicago. She frequently devises new work with Brooklyn-based incubator Undiscovered Countries, and has presented performance art at New Orleans’ Hell Yes Film Festival, Williamsburg Circus, Salonathon Chicago, TransVisions’ SOFT PALETTE virtual festival, and on the streets of NYC’s Lower East Side. Jessica is an Ensemble Member with American Blues Theater, and is repped by Paonessa Talent. She loves Irish music, British mysteries, and her parents. jgsmithactor.com
