Directions & Parking
A Red Orchid is located at 1531 North Wells Street in Chicago, a half block south of North Ave in the heart of Old Town.
CTA: Our theatre is conveniently located a short walk from the Sedgwick Brown Line and Clark/ Division Red Line CTA “El” stops, as well as several bus lines.
BROWN LINE DIRECTIONS: If taking the Brown Line, exit at the Sedgwick stop and head East on North Ave and take a right on Wells Street. A Red Orchid is located a half block down on the East side of the street.
RED LINE DIRECTIONS: If taking the Red Line, exit at the Clark/Division stop. Head north on LaSalle St or Clark St and take a left on Schiller. Then take a right on Wells Street and head north to A Red Orchid on the East side of the street.
PARKING
Parking is extremely limited in the Old Town neighborhood on weekend days and evenings. We strongly recommend taking the CTA via the instructions above, walking, or taking a Taxi, Lyft, or Uber.
There is, however, metered parking available on Wells Street, and several pay lots and garages close by.
We recommend the using the two pay lots located conveniently across from the Theatre on Wells Street. At the former location of O’Brien’s Restaurant, 1524 N Wells St or At Carriage Parking, 1554 N Wells St, nestled between Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Kanela Breakfast Club.

PARKING
Metered parking is available on Wells Street. There are also several pay lots and garages close by. We recommend the valet directly across the street at the former location of O’Brien’s Restaurant or Carriage Parking, which is another pay lot across the street and a half block north of A Red Orchid.
